Hi, here is a list of some forthcoming events I'm participating in throughout June. I'll be looking to travel to Sweden from London around the July 12 and returning July 19 /20, and would be interested in sharing one of the cabins at the Camp Site.

BonkersFest - A Celebration of Madness, Creativity and Individuality.
For this event I will be a Sandwich Board Man parading - Its A Mad Mad World ! - a collection of bizarre newspaper stories. Also appearing Bobby Baker, Kim Noble and John Hegley.

Service Wash Tales - Camberwell Arts Festival - Live Art Programme.
Customers at the laundry are invited to exchange stories about clothes. Each will be handwritten and given to the customer. Tumble Wash Launderette, 10.30 to 3.30pm. A collaborative work with Davina Drummond.

Peripatetic Proverbs - Camberwell Arts Festival - Live Art Programme.
Inspired by the plethora of leaflets handed out on London streets, I have written and hand printed a series of proverbs on cards, which I will hand out to passers-by around Camberwell Green, 2.00 to 5.00pm.

Gorilla In the Roses - Camberwell Arts Festival - Live Art Programme.
Inspired by Orton’s and Halliwell’s defacing of library books this work grants participants permission to similarly deface books, creating a ‘micro library’. Camberwell Public Library, 1.00 to 3.30 pm. A collaborative work with Davina Drummond.

Peckham Petastic3 - Rachael House invites you to the canine art social event of the year!

This is the unofficial (deviant) Art Festival blog, mostly intended for internal communication between participants. SUBMISSIONS: The (deviant) Art Festival Marathon 2009
The artists allowed to apply for the 2009 edition of The (deviant) Art Festival will be restricted to former participants or artists recommended by people involved in The (deviant) Art Festival.
-The 2009 event/exhibition will be a 13 different shows art marathon.
-The show will start at the 26 of June and end at the 20th July/ 2009.
-Each of the 13 shows will only last one day. (Could be one minute or 24 hours.)
-There are 4 different venues already available to use for your art project.
-Any number of artists could participate in each show. But each show will have one organizer/curator or "project manager" if you will.
(I.e. You either apply with your own one-day-exhibition/performance/screening/project/happening/gig/reading etc.
or you might have a suitable art project where you collaborate with others.)
Also use this blog to communicate with each other about related collaborative works.
IF YOU HAVE OTHER ART PROJECTS NOT SUITABLE FOR ONE DAY MARATHON that you still think would work within the realm of The (deviant) Art Festival 2009,

How to apply?
If you have previously participated in any (deviant) Art Festival related events:
1. Send us a draft of your "project/exhibition/event" idea. (Be practical, at this point we are more interested in the physicality of your piece/project. Line drawings/ sketches/ photos etc. are a good help to understand your vision.)
2. What is the artistic idea (statement) behind your project, be brief, pref. use just a few lines.
3. A list of people participating in your project/show. (Only applies if there are more than just yourself.)
4. WHAT DATE WILL YOU BE ABLE TO COME TO SWEDEN TO EXECUTE YOUR SHOW/PROJECT?
(Between 26 of June and the 20th July/ 2009.)
If you live in Sweden the question is of course when you can be in Trollhättan.
IMPORTANT!!! Please specify if your requested date is the only date possible for you, or if you could also do other dates.
There will be clashes.
LAST DAY FOR SUBMISSIONS: April 10th

2. Statement
3. Examples of previous works.
4. Contact information, web-pages etc.
